Ms. Cook was a senior acquisition manager at the Program Executive Office Enterprise Information Systems (PEO EIS) in the Computer Hardware Enterprise Software and Solutions (CHESS) program office serving in multiple capacities including Deputy Project Director. In that capacity Ms. Cook provided comprehensive hardware and software solutions with enterprise-focused support services to support the warfighter’s information dominance objectives worldwide.
Ms. Cook also served as the Chief of the Technology Management Division with overall responsibility for all hardware and services contracts including the Army Desktop and Mobile Computing-2, the Information Technology Enterprise Solutions-2 Services (ITES-2S) and Hardware (ITES-2H) contracts, the follow-on ITES-3H contract, the Information Technology Solutions – Small Business (ITS-SB) contracts and the Army’s twice annual Consolidated Buy (CB) of desktop and notebook computers. Ms. Cook has over 20 years of experience managing information technology contracts with the Army, DoD and Federal Agencies.
During her Government career, Ms. Cook was a member of the Army Acquisition Corps with Level III certification in Program Management. Her awards include the Army Achievement Medal for Civilian Service, the DoD Value Engineering Award and the Commanders Award for Civilian Service.
Ms. Cook graduated Magna Cum Laude from Monmouth University, West Long Branch, NJ with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. She holds a Master of Science degree in Program Management from the Naval Postgraduate School, Monterey, CA.
She and her husband Bruce reside in New Jersey.
